MAYBELLINE: BAD TO THE BRONZE!

PRODUCT REVIEW: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Gel Shadow – Bad to the Bronze

written by Payal Thaker

Hello YBP family! As promised last night, today I’m reviewing this amazing eyeshadow pot from Maybelline, which I’m literally going crazy about!

I love Maybelline products! When I’m in US or Dubai, they’ve always been one of my favorite drugstore brands. Maybelline is very good quality and affordable. In Ahmedabad, it’s difficult to just walk into any store and find my favorite makeup brands. 🙁 But thanks to brands like Maybelline being available in India, I can keep myself happy. 🙂

This ‘Bad to the Bronze’ name itself made it very tempting for me to buy. It looks very similar to Mac Paint Pots, and it’s very reasonably priced compared to Paint Pots. This was the first eye shadow I bought from the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Gel Shadow collection. It claims to stay for 24 hours without smudging, and I was up for the challenge. Of course, I don’t sleep with my makeup on, and I don’t pull many all-nighters, so it’s hard to really test their 24 hour claim. But I’ve had this on my eyes for a maximum of 8 hours and trust me, it does what it says! It stayed without smudging, without creating any lines, and without shedding its color.

I’m using this almost everyday!! I think it’s perfect as a base for creating nice smoky or bronze eye makeup. Or you can easily use it with your finger, just to give a small touch of bronze to your eyes. It’s very smooth and glides perfectly; very easy to apply. I think it’s an amazing buy, especially for those who are not very good with applying eye makeup and using brushes. I would definitely recommend applying a primer onto your eye area first; for that long-lasting stay, and to bring out the correct color.

In addition to “Bad to the Bronze” which is my favorite one, The other shades I really like  from the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Gel Shadow collection are:

Pomegranate Punk
Bold Gold

In India you can get it in many stores, or online: Nykaa ( Price: 350 INR )
It’s available worldwide at any drugstore ( Price: $5 to $6 USD )

If you have any questions or comments, please post below.

Love,
Payal
