BRIDAL MAKEUP DOS AND DON’TS FOR MONSOON

Bridal Makeup Dos and Don’ts for Monsoon

Wedding is an affair to remember in India. It is an event in our lifetime that needs preparation, planning, as well as execution to make it a memorable one. After all it is one event which calls for celebration, coming-together of people, and of course, pictures for lifetime memories.

No doubt every Bride, who is the star of the occasion, wishes to look her Best on her Big Day. Even for Pre-Bridal makeup and Beauty services, the Brides-to-be must go for a professional makeup artist. Some prefer Gel foundation as base makeup, or Muted and Lighter tones for a Radiant look, or a suitable hairdo. However, often the stress and worry to look perfect leads to mishaps on that Big Day.

So Get Gorgeous and Avoid Wedding Day Disasters with these Dos and Don’ts for any Bride:

1. Waterproof Makeup is your best friend if you’re getting married in this sultry weather

2. Avoid Cream-based Makeup. Same goes for glittery and shimmery stuff, that will make you look more oily and greasy. Matte is the way to go in humid climates.

3. The Secret of Flawless Looking Makeup lies in the Application. It’s true, especially for your base makeup, you’ve fought half of your battle once you get your base right. The other half is making sure your Foundation matches your skin tone and is not looking patchy and un-blended, and your Concealer is set right and not making your under eyes look cakey.

The good news is it’s Not Rocket Science. Create your Flawless base with the help of good quality Makeup Sponge just like the USA Beauty Blender, or if you’re in India use MakeupPerfector Sponge. It covers all your skin pores, acne marks, and scars from 360 degrees around Without making your Face look like a Mask. Brushes take lots of time to get full coverage, and it tends to make your Makeup look heavy.

4. Once you have set your base, now it’s time to create some OOMPH factor. Contour your Cheekbones, Jawline, and Nose with the help of your MakeupPerfector Sponge. It’s designed to fit the contour of your Face and make your Contour and Highlight look as Natural as possible.

5. Use a little Powder Highlighter on the higher of your Cheekbones and on the bridge of your Nose with the help of MakeupPerfector Sponge, and get that beautiful glow.

6. Apply a bright color Blush on your Cheeks to add some color.

7. Matte Eyeshadows in Pastel tones work well during the day. Evening functions are best complemented with Bolder tones of Black, Grey, Bronze, etc…Use Only Waterproof Mascara and Eyeliners.

8. Stick to Matte Lip Shades during the Monsoon. I would Highly recommend using a Brighter/Bolder Lip Color and Minimal Eye Makeup to avoid any run down on your Face.

9. Last but not least, finish your makeup by dusting some Loose Powder all over your Face. Never forget to spray on some Makeup Setting Spray, it will make your makeup stay in its place for longer.

For all the Brides-to-be, I would highly suggest carrying good Blotting Paper in your purse, it can save your makeup from looking sticky and shiny. It’s a must!
